Dobie Mall is located in the center of Austin, directly across from the University of Texas campus. The mall is a two-level enclosed shopping center offering a diverse selection of entertainment, dining, convenience goods, and personal services. In addition to the variety of retail and specialty stores located on the ground level, a 500 seat food court and four-screen movie theater are located on the upper-level of the mall.

Dobie Mall is located directly below Dobie Center, a 27-story private dormitory residence. The 900+ residents enjoy a variety of amenities not offered by other area housing options and provides a built in consumer base to support the Dobie Mall tenants.
